This week it was Culture Day, what wonderful day we had at Fernlea🤩We enjoyed some a variety of snack from different countries🧀😋We also spent some time sharing stories from our different cultural backgrounds and doing a show and tell with the children!📘

Last week we celebrated the 80th anniversary of VE Day at Fernlea! In recognition of VE Day, our residents and staff enjoyed a variety of different activities, and to top off the day, we enjoyed a delicious lunch in the sun straight from the BBQ! #VEDay80 #lestweforget

We kicked off Global Intergenerational Week with a bang last week as we hosted our Intergenerational Sports Day! We had ball games, bean bag games, races and we even got out the parachute! #GIW25
We celebrated St Georges Day across our services with an array of crafts, entertainment, and all round fun! Our residents at Yorklea created their own swords and shields, while our residents at Fernlea created a castle for our children to slay their dragon!
Last week we hosted the Great Fernlea Bake Off in aid of St Anns Hospice. We had so many entries from staff, families and friends with biscuits, cakes, scones, and cheesecakes!
