We started a penpal scheme at Doves Nest with Simons House Day Nursery in Oldham! As the children have been lerning about Autumn, we added some leaf printing to our letter!
we are 7!!!! we had our annual birthday party on Saturday and the theme chosen by our residents was a 70s inspired party….. this is exactly what they got. 70s music, 70s selfie props, 70s fancy dress and a tasty buffet. Yesterday our amazing activity team organised a ballroom dinner dance. The fun we all had was brilliant, we helped our lovely residents get glammed up. We started the afternoon with entertainment by the wonderful Guy Manarin whilst we wore masquerade masks made in our craft session. This was followed by a fabulous three course meal… Read more »
Last week we had a wonderful ‘Rainbow Day’ at Doves Nest. We had some fantastic entertainment and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves staff included!
We have had an exciting week at Fernlea! Amidst all the building work going on to enhance our beautiful garden further, we have been keeping the dream alive inside. We had a rootin tootin time at Fernfest!! It’s all about the cowboy hats, the line dancing, the hay bales and lots of laughing. Well done to the activity team once again for pulling this out of the bag and making sure our days are filled with lots of fun
#GladtoCare week was celebrated all last week. We wanted to have fun as a family and show everyone why we are glad to care.
