We have been having some fun at Doves Nest recently. Baking cakes is something we all enjoy ( eating them is even better ) so that’s exactly what we did to help create some delicious cakes for our Macmillan cake stall at Doves.
Yesterday at Fernlea we had a blast at Sports Day! We had a delicious healthy lunch and we were joined by our friends at Fernbees for some Sports Day fun! #sportsday

It’s Tooth Fairy Day today! Some of our residents from Fernlea went over to Fernbees today to have some Tooth Fairy related fun with the children! We all had a wonderful time playing pin the tooth on the fairy #ToothFairyDay
This week at Doves Nest we have enjoyed our Indian themed night to celebrate Indian Independence! Our staff wore Indian scarves, we have enjoyed some Bhangra music and enjoying some delivious Indian themed food!
As we see our children more and more, we are seeing more of our residents wanting to get involved with the activities! Our first summer fair at Fernlea for two years went was a roaring success! It was so nice to welcome our families and friends back to enjoy the summer sun and have a mooch around our wonderful stalls, and enjoy some delicious cake and ice cream!
