Garden Centre Trip
Our residents at Fernlea took the opportunity of the nice weather on Tuesday to go to the garden centre for coffee/ tea , cakes and a good old nosey around.

Animal Friends at Olea Care
Sometimes, all it takes to brighten someone’s day is a visit from an animal friend! At Doves Nest, one of our carers was wonderful enough to bring Bob the tiny tortoise to visit our residents, and our residents at Yorklea had a surprise visit from Benji, our manager’s gorgeous King Charles Spaniel!

Mental Health Champions

Lunar New Year at Doves Nest
t’s Lunar New Year! We celebrated with a delicious lunch of sweet and sour chicken, duck spring rolls, prawn crackers and fortune cookies! Residents listened to Chinese music whilst being served their Lunar New Year dinner!
Paediatric First Aid at Fernlea
As part of the Fernbees integration into Fernlea, we thought it would be a good idea to get some of our staff trained in paediatric first aid. We are thrilled to say that all of our staff passed the course and now there are plenty of paediatric first aiders on site at all times
Races at Fernlea
It was national fun at work day yesterday and we had wheelchair races for both staff and residents. It was a lot of fun and a good way to work off those bacon sarnies that everyone enjoyed
