We are currently looking for a team leader to join our night team at Doves Nest nursing home in Newton Heath.

Must be flexible and able to work weekends

As a Team Leader you will be expected to:

• have previous experience in care and experience leading a team.
• hold a NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
• be medication administration trained
• To deliver hands on care to residents in a person centred way while assist clients with personal care tasks.
• Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, re-positioning and movement of clients.
• Observe, monitor and record clients’ physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to senior staff.
• Support residents to enjoy a good quality of life and encourage participate in social and recreational activities.
• Exemplify our Philosophy of Care
• Act in accordance with the General Social Care Councils Code of Conduct
• Promote the good reputation of the home at all times.
• Carry out all duties in a safe manner showing regard to the health, safety and welfare of self, colleagues, patients and visitors to the home.
