Our bar and lounge aims to provide an atmosphere of elegance and calm making it the perfect space to relax in the morning with a newspaper and a cappuccino or enjoy a glass of wine and a chat with friends following the evening meal.

Residents at Fernlea, our Hazel Grove care home, can get active in our 50sqm state-of-the-art wellbeing centre.

Fernfit encourages residents to focus on their physical and mental wellness by providing equipment designed to focus on dexterity, reactions, and mobility. Fernfit offers a safe and comfortable environment for residents to try new things from cardio, to strength, to sensory equipment.

Our residents can immerse themselves in our fully fitted, 5 place, ultra HD cinema experience equipped with 2.6 metre screen, Sky TV, and state-of-the art integrated surround sound-system.

With regular showings and an ever-growing range of films, our residents can sit back, relax, and enjoy their favourite classic or experience something totally new.

Families and friends are also welcome to book out our screen and enjoy a film with their loved ones.

Our residents can relax in luxury while being pampered in our beautiful salon.

Complete with nail bar, hair salon, and pedispa our salon offers a range of services.

With regular visits from professionals and an array of professional products, our residents can book a slot to get their hair cut and styled, have a manicure or pedicure, or simply relax while having a pamper.

Fernbees is the first day nursery in the North West on the grounds of a care home!

Our connection to Fernbees enables us to engage in regular intergenerational activity with the children and our residents. From day trips, to crafts, to walks in the park our residents love to engage with the children and our children can learn so much from our residents.

Our catering team work closely with residents to produce a varied menu incorporating individual choices and traditional favourites. Our spacious restaurant serves high quality meals made from fresh ingredients sourced from preferred suppliers, to ensure a balanced nutritional diet.

The décor and location of the restaurant encompass natural sunlight and the quality dining furniture creates a warm and inviting atmosphere which enhances the dining experience. When the sun is shining, an alfresco dining experience can be offered in the courtyard outside the restaurant.

Our Restaurant is independent from the home and offers a lovely opportunity for friends and relatives to choose from our very reasonably priced menu to join their loved ones for a meal or at the bistro area which offers hot drinks and snacks throughout the day.

Hydromassage enhances the therapeutic and relaxing effects of bathing and provides a pleasant experience for our residents.

The hydromassage bathing system creates millions of small bubbles and agitation in the water which increases stimulation of peripheral blood circulation and creates a deep heat effect which reduces pain and inflammation.

We encourage social interaction and Fernlea has been designed to provide residents with shared living space that is flexible enough to enable them to choose the range and diversity of their social interaction.
