We are seeking a RGN to join our team. The successful candidate will be compassionate, highly motivated and enthusiastic.
The nurse will
· ensure, through effective supervision, management and a high standard of professional practice, a delivery of care, that is conducive to the clinical, spiritual, psychological, health and welfare needs of the resident is maintained.
· provide advice, clinical expertise in the management of complex cases and high-risk situations
· develop person centered care plans that improve resident experiences and achieve positive outcomes, incorporating risk assessments and other such relevant documentation that detail the action which needs to be taken by the care team to ensure that all aspects of the health, personal care, psychological and social care needs of the residents are met
· provide a visible, accessible and authoritative presence to staff, residents and significant others
· demonstrate that they can manage complex situations effectively, making decisions based on the overall long-term impact to the home and business and not based on the benefit of a particular situation or individual.
· deal with conflict in the proper setting and use outcomes as an opportunity for improvement.
· resolve difficult situations and settle disputes equitably by effectively understanding others and finding a common ground and to attain a solution.
· negotiate skillfully in difficult situations with both internal and external groups and reach effective solutions without damaging relationships.
· act in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct
Qualifications
The nurse will be a first level nurse with a minimum of 2 years general nursing experience.

· the ability to effectively manage a team based on its overall success of meeting expectations and understands and manages skills and styles of diverse work teams and individuals to achieve superior results
· the ability to build a positive excitement in the organisation
· they can manage complex situations effectively, making decisions based on the overall long-term impact to the home and residents and not based on the benefit of a particular situation or individual their ability to promote a mutually beneficial relationship between residents, employees, customers, contractors and the home.
· they can promote productive cooperation between teams and foster a sense of mutual accountability amongst team members
