At the beginning of May 13 we had a major upheaval in our payroll process, which had been sub-contracted out, which unfortunately coincided with the national roll out of the Real-Time Information (RTI) changes. This caused some disruption to our usually seamless payroll process and lead to the decision by the business support team to bring the whole process in-house.
We took the decision to use Sage Payroll software and have been working closely with them in what has been a rapid learning exercise for the whole team. After two successful payroll runs with no disruption to staff, we would like to say a big thank you to the commitment and dedication of the business support team in making the changes successful.
As part of this change both Laura and Diane have decided to undertake the Sage Accreditation exams for Accounts and Payroll. We wish them the best of luck in their studies.
